1. Who is responsible

Data controller: to be completed by the site owner (legal name and address) before publishing this version as final.

2. What data we process

Your MegaCity account data (name, username, email, phone and photo, as you provided them); usage data (sign-in date, language, currency, approximate country from IP); payment data for your plan and top-ups; and, if you turn it on, location data.

3. What we use it for

To create and maintain your account, enable communication between the members of your channels, bill your plan, send you service notices, give support and improve security.

4. Voice and messages

Audio and messages are transmitted in real time to the people in your channel or to the person you send them to. The connection is protected with TLS/WSS; it is not end-to-end encrypted.

5. Location

It is only collected when you or your team administrator turn location sharing on. You can pause it from the app. History is kept for the days included in the plan of the account that manages the team.

6. Who we share data with

With MegaCity (your account and wallet), with Mercado Pago to process top-ups and with the infrastructure providers needed to run the service. We do not sell your data.

7. Your rights

You can ask for access, correction or deletion of your data, and object to certain uses, by writing to us from the contact page.

8. Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary to keep your session, form security, and remember your language and currency. We do not use advertising cookies.

9. Changes

We may update this notice. The current version will be published on this page.
